Who can apply?
Violinists, violists and cellists of all nationalities who are no more than 26 years of age and no less than 16 years of age on 11th August 2021.
When does the next competition take place?
26th September - 1st October 2021.
Where will the competition take place?
Semi-final and Final performances will be recorded from the competitor's country of residence due to Covid related restrictions.
When is the closing date for applications?
The closing date is 11th August 2021, 23:59 (BST). Please note late applications cannot be considered.
Is there an Official Competition Pianist?
No, not for 2021. For the 2021 edition of the competition, competitors will need to organise their own accompanist in their country of residence for all Semi-final and Final rounds.
How are the competitors selected?
Once all applications have been received, the official panel of preliminary jury will watch all audition videos and consider all the applications, in order to select the 12 Semi-finalists.
