Bacem Anas Romdhani is a Tunisian violinist representing the Arab musical elite. Aged eleven he won a full scholarship from Yehudi Menuhin School and settled in the UK. He is currently doing an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music. Highlights of his career include being scouted by the World Philharmonic Orchestra to represent Tunisia, Africa & the Arab world in Paris at age ten, and winning the Vatelot-Rampal International Competition before turning twelve. His early musical journey is chronicled in the documentary ‘Once Upon Our Time’ (2010). Bacem Anas Romdhani plays the ‘ex.Menuhin’ violin by Andreas Hellinge, Geneva (1998).
