Coco Tomita

Japanese violinist Coco Tomita first gained recognition winning the BBC Young Musician 2020 Strings Category. Her debut album ‘Origins’ earned Apple’s ‘Disc of the Month,’ followed by ‘Echoes’ in 2024, together amassing over 7 million streams. Named ‘One to Watch’ by Gramophone and ‘Young Classical Star’ by Classic FM, she is also a passionate chamber musician recently winning 2nd Prize with her Piano Quartet Euphorie Quartet at the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition. Coco has performed at prestigious halls as a soloist such as Suntory Hall, Wigmore Hall, Dubai Opera and Saffron Hall. She currently studies with Kolja Blacher at Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler for her Master’s Degree.
