Edward Walton

Edward Walton studies with Professor Boris Kuschnir and is a Violin Channel Young Artist and Pirastro Strings Young Artist. Prizewinner at major international competitions, he received Second Prize at the 2021 Menuhin International Violin Competition (Junior Division), First Prize at Il Piccolo Violino Magico, and the 2026 Musica Goritiensis Violin Competition. He has appeared as soloist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Göttinger Symphonie Orchester, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Edward is a scholarship recipient of the Musikakademie Liechtenstein and performs on a Gennaro Gagliano violin, generously loaned through Beare’s International Violin Society.
