Recently praised by The Strad for her "perfect intonation and beautiful shaping and colouring... comprehensively nailing each new stylistic and emotional universe as she went", Mathilde has performed as a soloist at venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall and regularly broadcasts live on BBC Radio 3 ‘In Tune’. In 2018 she won the Aurora Music Competition in Sweden, was a semi-finalist at the international Joachim Violin Competition and in 2017 won First Prize at the Royal Overseas League String Competition. She currently studies in Munich with Professor Mi-kyung Lee, generously funded by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
