The kitchens will stay open longer on Castle concert evenings (19th, 21st and 25th September). You may like to consider having Starter and Main Course before the concert and Pudding following the concert, but this must be agreed with the hotel at the time of booking.


Tomato & basil soup with herb croutons

John Ross Jr smoked salmon mousse with horseradish cream and citrus dressing

Chicken liver pate with apple & plum chutney

Tomato & mozzarella salad with fresh pesto sauce

Homemade gnocchi with grilled asparagus and pea & butter emulsion  

Main Course

Free range, pan fried chicken breast stuffed with sun dried tomato mousse, roasted new potato and creamy tarragon sauce

100% Scottish beef burger with skinny fries and homemade relish

Plaice fillet served with crushed new potato, grilled asparagus and lemon & thyme sauce

Slow cooked pork belly with bramley apple mash potato and rosemary gravy

Wild mushroom ravioli with creamy pesto sauce and toasted pine nuts


Sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce

Vanilla cheesecake with berry compote

Fruit salad

Berry crumble
