How do I apply?
Apply online, by follow the instructions in the application section.
Who can apply?
Violinists, violists and cellists of all nationalities who are no more than 26 years of age and no less than 16 years of age on 10th March 2024.
When does the next competition take place?
Live rounds are 10 - 16 March 2024.
Where will the competition take place?
Semi-final and Final performances will take place in Windsor, UK.
When is the closing date for applications?
The closing date is 24th November 2023, 23:59 (GMT).
Is there an Official Competition Pianist?
Yes, there are 2 WFISC Official Pianists - Simon Lane and Nigel Hutchison. Selected Semi-finalists will be allocated a WFISC Official Pianist prior to arrival in Windsor, UK.
How are the competitors selected?
Once all applications have been received, the official panel of preliminary jury will watch all audition videos and consider all the applications, in order to select the 12 Semi-finalists.
